Castlevania: Lords of Shadow ships 1 million units in North America and Europe.

Konami has announced Castlevania: Lords of Shadow has shipped 1 million units in North America and Europe on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 combined.

"Castlevania has truly reinvented itself with its move to next gen platforms and we're extremely pleased at the positive response we've seen toward Castlevania: Lords of Shadow globally, mainly due to the dedicated fans who have supported the series for so long," said Shinji Hirano, President of Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. Developed by MercurySteam in collaboration with Kojima Productions, Lords of Shadow released on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on October 5th, 2010 in North America, October 7th, 2010 in Europe. The game will release in Japan on December 16, 2010.
