No Playable Vehicles in New Batman Game

Batman: Arkham City will not contain any vehicles, says producer.

Arkham City producer Sefton Hill commented about the absence of any playable vehicles in the game to magazine GamesTM.

"There aren't any playable vehicles in the game. What we've really focused on is Batman himself. We see him as the ultimate vehicle," said Hill.

This means no Batmobile, Batplane, or Batboat. Developer Rocksteady has already assured Batfans that the hero will have extensive access to the city, so the lack of vehicles should not have a significant effect on his ability to get around.

Batman: Arkham City will be released for the PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 in 2011.
