EA Confirms Mass Effect 2 PS3 Release Date

Mass Effect 2 will arrive on the PlayStation 3 this January.

Electronic Arts just told IGN that the PlayStation 3 version of Mass Effect 2 will arrive in the U.S. on January 18, 2011 and in Europe on January 21, 2011.

The port will come with a number of extras, including six hours of DLC and and interactive comic to catch up PlayStation 3 owners who haven't played the first Mass Effect.

Developed by BioWare, Mass Effect 2 was originally released for the PC and Xbox 360 on January 26, 2010 in North America and Europe, and January 28, 2010 in Australia.
