World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Guide: Uldum
Uldum is one of the new zones introduced in World of Warcraft Cataclysm. The zone is for players level 83 and above.
In World of Warcraft: Cataclysm five new zones were introduced for players to quest in to get to level 85, one of these is Uldum. Both the Horde and Alliance can quest in Uldum. A player is able to go to Uldum once they are level 83.
Travelling to Uldum
As with the other zones players will pick up a quest to go to Uldum from their home city (ie. Stormwind or Orgrimmar). The zone itself is located in Kalimdor and to the south of Tanaris, players will be asked to speak to an NPC in Tanaris to get in to Uldum. This shows the player a cinematic of being captured and then the quests will begin.
Questing in Uldum
Uldum is inspired by Ancient Egypt and the faction a player will encounter there is the Ramkahen. The amount of quests required for the achievement Unearthing Uldum is 108. Players will also encounter Harrison Jones in the zone who will provide a large number of quests to complete, these won't grant reputation with any faction but are still good fun to do. There are also three dungeons located in Uldum, these are the Vortex Pinnacle, The Halls of Origination, and the Lost City of Tol'vir.
Questing in Uldum is really good fun, there are also lots of cinematics to enjoy as well. Players will easily reach level 84 questing in Uldum, where they can either drop the zone and continue on to the last zone, Twilight Highlands or complete all the quests available in Uldum.
