Pokemon Black and White Coming to North America in March

Nintendo announces a March 6 release date for next Pokemon games.

Nintendo has announced the North American release date for the newest pair of Pokemon games for the DS. Pokemon Black and White will arrive on March 6, 2011.

The new games will include a new region and over 150 new Pokemon to catch and train. There will be two new legendaries which will be exclusive to the games that feature their picture on the box. This will also be the first Pokemon game in which the seasons change.

"Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version represent a generational leap forward for the renowned series, delivering an unprecedented number of new Pokémon to catch, battle and trade," said Marc Franklin, Nintendo of America's director of Public Relations. "Whether you have played the Pokémon video games before or are just getting interested in them, you won't want to miss Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version."

The titles can now be pre-ordered in North America. The games will cost $34.99 each.
