World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Guide: Twilight Highlands
Twilight Highlands is the fifth and final zone for questing introduced in World of Warcraft Cataclysm.
Twilight Highlands is the last of the five new zones introduced in World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, it is aimed at level 84 players to help them reach the cap of level 85. Twilight Highlands is different to the other four zones of Cataclysm as it has separate questing zones for the Horde and Alliance.
Travelling to Twilight Highlands
As with the other zones, a player will pick up a quest in their home cities (ie. Stormwind or Orgrimmar) which will lead to them travelling to Twilight Highlands. After a player has travelled there via the quest,a portal will be available in the player's home city.
Questing in Twilight Highlands
The Horde and Alliance will start in different areas of Twilight Highlands. The main faction for the Alliance there is the Wildhammer Clan, and for the Horde, the Dragonmaw Clan. Both of these factions will have a number of dailies become available once the player has completed the normal quests. As players progress through the zone, they will begin a quest chain which ultimately leads to the lore of Deathwing. These quests are both Horde and Alliance.
For the achievement 'Fading into Twilight' a player will need to complete 120 quests in the zone, which is easily accomplished. If a player also starts the zone at level 84 they will soon reach the level cap of 85.
Overall, Twilight Highlands is an enjoyable and varied zone in terms of quest chains.
