The Conduit in Development for 3DS

High Voltage is working on bringing The Conduit to the Nintendo 3DS.

Speaking with Eurogamer, chief creative officer of High Voltage Eric Nofsinger discussed the process of making a version of The Conduit for Nintendo's new handheld system. Optimizing the game for the 3DS is going well according to the developer.

"We've got environments from this already up and running around. You can shoot, you can select different weapons and you can see enemies. It runs pretty darn well with full 3D and everything."

Nofsinger is also excited about the possibility of true multiplayer for the 3DS version of the game. Like on the Wii, players will be able to exchange friend codes in order to play with each other.

High Voltage is negotiating with SEGA concerning the distribution of the 3DS's The Conduit. The Conduit for the Wii was released on June 23, 2009.
