Two New Blizzard Games Coming in 2011-12

Activision head says there will be at least two new Blizzard titles in the next two years.

During Activision's latest financial earnings call, company head Thomas Tippl said that if a new Blizzard game doesn't come out this year, there will be at least two in 2012.

"Should we not release a major title from Blizzard this year, we would expect for planning purposes to launch a minimum of two Blizzard titles in 2012."

Blizzard president Mike Morhaime next announced that they will soon be releasing more information on Heart of the Swarm, a Starcraft II expansion, and the next Diablo game. This has caused Blizzard fans to suspect that two of the at least two games coming out will be these. Morhaime promised to speak on Diablo III and its beta during the next call.
