No Multiplayer for Arkham City
Rocksteady's Sefton Hill confirms Arkham City is single-player only.
Rocksteady Studios Director Sefton Hill revealed to internet gaming site IGN that there will definitely be no multiplayer in the Arkham Asylum sequel.
According to the developer, the team could create the best experience if they had to divide their attention between two modes of play.
"With the game now coming to the final stages, I can honestly say it would not have been possible to deliver Arkham City the way we wanted to if we'd have added multiplayer," said Hill.
In addition to this news, Hill revealed a bit about the role of Catwoman in Arkham City.
"Catwoman is one of the most recent criminals to be incarcerated in Arkham City. She's independent, strong minded and not aligned with any of the existing super-criminals who are already inside."
Batman: Arkham City will be released in the third quarter of 2011 for the PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
