Risen 2: Dark Waters Announced

Sequel to 2009's Risen announced.

Deep Silver has officially announced Risen 2: Dark Waters for the PC and "consoles". The sequel to Risen will feature a new engine, settings, and characters.

The story will be set several years after the events of Risen in a world where titans have devastated humanity. The release states Risen 2 will have a "pirate theme" and a darker storyline.

A release date was not announced, concept art is available on the official website. Risen originally released in October, 2009 for the PC and February, 2010 for the Xbox 360.
