Pokemon Black and White Sells Big in UK

Pokemon Black and White topped the charts in the UK this weekend.

The newest duo of Pokemon games have taken the top two spots on the UK's sales chart for the week, according to Chart-Track. Black and White also claimed the title of biggest Pokemon game launch.

The White version is on the top of the chart, outselling Black by about 13,000 copies. It is now considered the 2nd fastest selling DS game ever. Together, Black and White take the title of Nintendo's 3rd biggest UK launch ever, behind Wii Fit and Mario Kart Wii.

Pokemon Black and White was released in Europe on March 4 for the Nintendo DS, and on March 6 in North America.
