Torchlight XBLA is Runic's "Highest Sales Day Ever"

Torchlight XBLA release sets sale record for Runic Games.

Runic Games has announced the recent XBLA release of Torchlight has granted the company its best sales day in history.

"We're very excited to bring Torchlight to the 360, and have been really gratified by the positive reaction. It's affirming to know that console players love this genre as much as we do. We think the experience translates pretty well to the couch," said President Travis Baldree.

Torchlight released on the Xbox Live Arcade on March 9th, 2011 under the Block Party promotion. The title is also available on the PC and Mac. A sequel is currently in development.
