Capcom announces new Dead Rising title featuring Frank West.
Capcom has announced "Dead Rising 2: Off The Record", the newest iteration in the Dead Rising series. Frank West will return to the series as the protagonist in Fortune City.
Dead Rising 2 developer, Capcom Vancouver (previously known as Blue Castle Games) will be behind the title. The title is described as a "reimaging of the Fortune City outbreak". The game will feature a new storyline, enemies, weapon combinations, and areas not present in the original.
The title will also feature various technical additions such as faster load times, engine upgrades, and improved netcode.
Off The Record will release this Fall for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
