Halo: Reach Beta goes Live in May

Microsoft expecting millions to participate in beta.

Microsoft has announced that the Halo: Reach multiplayer beta will go live on May 3.

The announcement was made at the X10 held in San Francisco.

Microsoft is anticipating that the Halo: Reach multiplayer beta will be the largest of its kind on any console: “The “Halo: Reach” multiplayer beta, on track to be the largest beta program of its kind on any console, is expected to see millions of participants when it begins May 3. Players can access the multiplayer beta on Xbox LIVE through the “Halo 3: ODST” disc.2”

Just a quick reminder, you will need a copy of Halo 3: ODST to participate in the beta. If you’re without a copy then keep your eyes out for our exclusive competition where we’ll be giving away a copy of Halo 3: ODST and a limited edition controller.

Halo: Reach is set for a launch later this year.
