God of War 3 Demo landing next week?

Retailer hints to a potential release date for the God of War 3 demo.

With God of War 3 firmly set for a March release, Sony has remained tight-lipped over the release of a demo hitting PSN. Whilst a demo is almost certain to hit the Playstation Store shortly before the games release, the fine print of a pre-order deal has pointed to a potential public release.

UK-retailer GAME is offering those who pre-order the game online exclusive early access to the God of War 3 demo as of tomorrow. A quick browse of the terms & conditions highlight this fact:

“As of the 25th February the demo will no longer be exclusive to Game.co.uk.”

The 25th of February is also a Thursday which is the same day the Playstation Store updates its content. Put two and two together and it looks like the God of War 3 demo will be hitting the EU PS Store next Thursday.

UPDATE: SCEE got back to us about confirming when the demo would be releasing on PSN. This was their comment:

"The GOW3 demo being given away with Game is only active until the 24th, preorders after this date will not receive it.  There will be a demo on the PSN but the date is still TBC."
