U.K. developer opens new studio in Birmingham, England.
Rare, the Microsoft first party behind recent titles such as Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise, Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, as well as Microsoft's avatars is opening a new studio in Birmingham, England.
The studio will not replace the "creative hub" located in Twycross but will be used to help development of Rare's titles. The new studio will be housed in the Fazeley Studiocomplex in Birmingham. The studio will have a head count of roughly 90 people and could possibly be used to work on Microsoft's avatar initiative.
