Pokemon Black and White Officially Announced

The 5th Generation of Pokemon Gets A Release Date.

Nintendo have officially announced the next Pokemon sequels. Titled Pokemon Black and Pokemon White, the fifth generation of the franchise promises "every aspect will be reborn innovatively."

The game is expected to feature "a new generation of amazing Pokémon", two characters, Reshiram and Zekrom have already been revealed. The characters will be featured on the Black and White covers respectively.

The titles are expected to hit stateside by Spring of 2011 for the Nintendo DS. Further details were not released.
