Guide: World of Warcraft Frozen Orb Vendor in Dalaran

In a recent patch Blizzard introduced a frozen orb vendor in Dalaran, where the orbs can be traded for useful goods.

Frozen Orbs were widely used in crafting patterns such as leather working and blacksmithing  when the Wrath of the Lich King expansion was brought out. However as players advanced their skills, they moved onto to Runed Orbs and Crusader Orbs.

Frozen Orb Drops

Frozen Orbs drop in all Wrath of the Lich King heroic dungeons, players are only allowed to Greed roll now, with the Need option blanked out in most cases. 

Frozen Orb Vendor

The Frozen Orb vendor can be found in Dalaran in the Magus Commerce Exchange, between the mining and engineering workshops. Frozen Orbs can be exchanged for Runed or Crusader Orbs, Frost Lotus, and all of the eternal materials used to craft items (fire, earth, life etc.). This is particularly useful for players as farming the eternal materials can be time consuming and expensive to purchase them from the Auction House.
