Halo's Forge and Firefight modes get updated and a Halo themed Xbox 360 S are announced.

Earlier today at Comic-Con Microsoft and Bungie revealed two new modes for Halo: Reach as well as a custom Xbox 360 S Bundle for the game.

The mode that is getting the most talk is "Forge World". Forge World will allow up to eight players to use the new Forge 2.0 tool-set to create new game modes, maps, and layouts. It will be accessible over Xbox Live, system link, and four-player split screen.

The "World" part is the canvas players will use to create and manipulate new environments. The area is a massive playground that according to Bungie was meant to be five separate maps, but later they decided to combined them all into one huge map. Players will be able to use up to 150 objects in this world.

As hinted at weeks ago in a Red vs. Blue video the classic "Blood Gulch" map from Halo: Combat Evolved returns (called "Hemorrhage") as a small section of "Forge World". Bungie released a ViDoc demonstrating "Forge World" in more detail.

The second mode Bungie announced was "Versus Firefight." It basically is the "Firefight" mode from Halo 3: ODST, but it allows the players to use Covenant Elites to try and stop the Spartans from advancing.

Lastly, Bungie and Microsoft showed off a Halo: Reach Xbox 360 S. It will be designed in limited edition silver. It includes a 250 GB hard drive, two silver controllers, a Halo themed head-set, an episode of Halo Legends, a token for a in-game Elite armor set, and of course a copy of Halo: Reach. The Xbox 360 and controllers are all Halo themed as well.
