World of Warcraft Fishing Achievements: Daily Fishing Quests in Dalaran

Completing the daily fishing quests in Dalaran will not only earn a player experience (if below level 80), extra gold, and rewards, but also reputation with the Kirin Tor and an achievement for completing all five.

In Dalaran a player can pick up the daily fishing quests from Marcia chase who stands near the fountain, regardless of their fishing skill, however for players with a low fishing skill it will take considerably longer to obtain the fish required for the quest. Although whilst completing the fishing quests a player can quickly gain fishing skill points and Marcia Chase also offers training. 

The 5 Daily Fishing Quests

The Ghostfish - this requires the player to travel to Sholozar Basin and to the lake at River's Heart, the player needs to fish up a ghost fish and eat it immediately as the ghost fish only has a short duration. 

Disarmed - the player needs to fish in the Violet Hold area of Dalaran and catch a bloated eel, once the eel is opened a player will receive a 'Severed Arm' which is handed in to Olisarra the Kind, in the first-aid shop in the Magus Commerce Exchange Area of Dalaran. This is the only one of the five daily fishing quests that aren't handed in to Marcia Chase. 

Jewel of the Sewers - the player needs to fish up some 'Corroded Jewellery' from the sewers in Dalaran, and is the easiest of all the five fishing quests.

Dangerously Delicious - this requires the player to catch 10 Terrorfish from Lake Wintergrasp, a player will need to go while there is no battle in progress and when their faction have control of Wintergrasp. 

Blood is Thicker - requires the player to catch five Bloodtooth Frenzy fish from Borean Tundra. A player will need to kill a beast such as a mammoth near the lake so they will be covered in blood, then run into the lake to wash the blood off, this will create a school of Bloodtooth Frenzy fish.

Rewards for the Daily Fishing Quests

Completing the daily fishing quests gives a variety of rewards from the Bag of Fishing Treasures, these can range from fishing aids to pieces of worthless glass worth only a few copper to a Porcelain Bell which vendors for 100 gold. A player can also receive mana potions, a Vial of Poison which begins a quest handed in in the sewers of Dalaran for more gold, and also a companion pet, a Strand Crawler. 

Completing all five daily fishing quests will earn a player the achievement 'Chasing Marcia' which is one of many that makes up the fishing meta-achievement which gives the player the title of 'Salty.'
