Zombies Confirmed for Black Ops

Details on the Hardened and Prestige editions of the retail release include Zombie maps

Best Buy recently announced that one of the Call of Duty: Black Ops Collector's Editions, "Hardened Edition," will contain "Four Zombie Maps pack made famous from COD: World at War."

A bonus feature in World at War allowed players to kill zombie Nazis and it quickly became one of the most popular multiplayer activities. It was therefore no surprise when rumors began of the zombies' return.

A "Prestige Edition" will be released as well, and will come with a remote control car with a built-in camera.

Developer Treyarch seems to be confident in the success of Black Ops, claiming that it is, among other things, "classic CoD" and "true to the script Infinity Ward originally wrote back in 2003." The newest installment of the Call of Duty franchise will be available for PC, PS3, Xbox 360, and the Nintendo Wii on November 9, 2010.
