Insomniac Announces Two Titles at Sony's Gamescom Press Event

Two big franchises are getting new installments from Insomniac Games.

At Sony's Gamescom Press Event, Insomniac Games officially announced two upcoming titles, both exclusive to the PS3.  The first was a completely new Ratchet & Clank title, All 4 One, which is the premiere title for Insomniac's North Carolina studio.  All 4 One will feature 4-person drop-in drop-out co-op play, a first for the franchise.  We got to see Ratchet, Clank, Captian Qwark and Dr. Nefarious all working together in the reveal trailer to take on a boss.  No release date or additional information was revealed.

The press conference then ended with a live action short for Resistance 3.  While there has still been no formal announcement or additional information, this combined with recent billboard sightings for the rumored in production title suggests that Insomniac will have something to show soon.  Until then, we just have to keep praying that it is a work in progress behind the scenes.
