Torchlight Console Port "Hopefully" Done by Holidays

Runic Games is trying to get Torchlight on PSN and XBLA as soon as possible.

After selling game number 750,000, the creators of the PC hit Torchlight announced that they are working hard to finish a console port by Christmas. Runic Games CEO Max Schaefer told Joystiq that "We're trying, we're talking [to Sony and Microsoft] and we hope to get that done quickly."

Torchlight sales hit the half-million mark last May after being released the previous October. Torchlight 2 has already been announced for release next year. Schaefer said that they will also try to get the sequel out for the consoles after its PC and Mac release.
