Plants vs. Zombies Coming for the DS

PopCap Games announces DS version of the casual hit.

According to The Escapist, PopCap Games just announced that the popular tower-defence game Plants vs. Zombies will be available to Nintendo DS owners in January 2011. The undead invasion is already coming to Xbox Live Arcade in September after entertaining millions on the PC, Mac, and iPhone.

In addition to the standard modes and mini-games available to the other versions, the DS version will include "new and exclusive" content. It is unclear exactly what this content will be.

Plants vs. Zombies will cost Nintendo fans $19.95.
