Rumor: 3DS Could Be Released Late November In Japan

Employee of Japanese accessory maker Keys Factory tweets possible release date.

A tweet by "Nocchisan" (translated by NeoGAF) has Nintendo fans intrigued. The author of the tweet says that he works for Keys Factory, a Japanese company that makes accessories for the Nintendo DS. His Twitter post contained the following:

"On November 20th, the 11 goods I designed for use with the 3DS will go on sale simultaneously. Those of you buying the 3DS, please buy them while you're at it! This will be officially announced on the homepage eventually, lol. Best regards."

As the accessories for the Nintendo 3DS will be available for purchase on November 20 in Japan, it may be that the 3DS will be released on the same day. However, it cannot be verified if this Twitter user really does work for Keys Factory, and accessories for new DS models are sometimes seen in stores before the actual hardware.

Fans will not have to wait long before the official announcement of the Japanese release date for the 3DS. Nintendo will let us know on September 29.
