Rumor: Players Claim to Receive Compensation for APB

Purchasers of All Points Bulletin say that EA is compensating them after the failure of the MMO.

After the early failure of the MMOG All Points Bulletin, it seems that some players may be receiving discounts and free games to make up for their lost investment.

Several users on a Steam forum are saying that after unsuccessful attempts to convince Steam to compensate them, they contacted EA and were able to get something out of it. Some claim to have received $20 discount codes, and one looks to be getting a free copy of Dragon Age 2 when it comes out.

Not all customers who contacted EA have been able to get anything from them. It seems that those who bought APB early are having little luck, while those who got it close to the day it was shut down are more likely to get through to the company.
