InFamous 2 May Include Multiplayer

Sucker Punch is looking into adding a multiplayer feature to the inFamous sequel.

Sucker Punch, the developer of the PS3 exclusive inFamous series, recently mentioned that a multiplayer mode for inFamous 2 is a possibility.

The company had already made it known that they're considering 3D and PlayStation Move as possible features for the sequel. At Eurogamer Expo 2010, they added multiplayer to that list.

"Sony has a lot of great technologies: 3D, Move, multiplayer. We're looking into all of them," said designer Darren Bridges, "The single-player campaign is our main focus and then we're going to look at those other features and see if they fit in."

Bridges had a number of other things to say about inFamous 2, including the return of side missions and the morality system. He also showed off a new parkour system and new powers.

Infamous 2 will be ready for release in 2011 for the PS3.
