Capcom Adds Simple Mode to Marvel Vs. Capcom 3

Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 will include a control mode similar to that found in Super Smash Bros.

According to MTV Multiplayer Blog, the next Capcom crossover will allow players to switch to "Simple mode," a control scheme which is a lot easier to use than the standard.

Marvel Vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds' Simple mode will remind many gamers of the control scheme from the Super Smash Bros. games. One button will activate standard attacks, and the other special attacks. Every attack can be performed by pressing one of these buttons and moving the control stick in a certain direction.

Players using Simple mode can perform every move available to those using the standard mode. The only difference is that Simple mode doesn't require the same kind of memorization that comes with many arcade fighters. This will allow people who are new to the genre to have a fighting chance against Capcom veterans.

Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 will be released in 2011 for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
