Capcom and Level-5 Announce Layton/Ace Crossover

New Ace Attorney game turns out to be a Professor Layton - Phoenix Wright crossover.

At a recent press conference, Level-5 revealed that they will be working on a new crossover title with Capcom.

The game is entitled Layton Kyouju vs. Gyakuten Saiban, which translates to Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney. It will be developed for the Nintendo 3DS, and will feature cooperation between the professor and the attorney.

According to VGTribune, the game will be set in a medieval city called Labyrinth City which is populated by witches, and will involve witch trials. It will be a "combination of puzzles and a crime mystery," much like all of the Ace Attorney and Professor Layton games. Few other details were given.
