New Battlefield Game to Be Announced Friday

EA's Ben Cousins says another new Battlefield game is on the way.

Ben Cousins of Electronic Arts recently posted a tweet saying that a brand new Battlefield game is about to be revealed to the public.

"Flying to London later today to show a new, unannounced #Battlefield game to the press. News goes public on Friday. (NOT #BF3)"

The most recent Battlefield game, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, came out in March of this year. The studio has since been working on other titles, including the multiplayer component for the recently release Medal of Honor. Battlefield 3 was already announced in 2009, and it was revealed in July that players who pre-order Medal of Honor would receive a beta invitation for the game. On top of this, a Vietnam Expansion for Bad Company 2 is set to be released this winter.

Fans can only speculate on what the new Battlefield game will look like, as no other information has come to light.
