RED STEEL 2 CONFIRMED FOR HOLIDAY 09
Or at least Ubisoft think so...

Posted by Thomas Worthington on Apr 30, 2009 12:27 (224 days ago)

Red Steel 2 was officially confirmed by Ubisoft today although many of us saw the Nintendo Power scans days ago.

What might come as a happy surprise or possibly a disappointment to some is that Ubisoft have confirmed that the game is due for release before the year is out.

Red Steel was a unique opportunity for Ubisoft to work in tandem with Nintendo to create a title exclusively for the launch of the Wii console," said John Parkes, EMEA marketing director at Ubisoft. "Red Steel 2 is another milestone for the company as it is the first Ubisoft title with full Wii MotionPlus integration.

I don't think I need to remind anyone that Red Steel, whilst fun for some people, was a very rushed project. Red Steel 2 has been in development for a long time but is it enough time to make the perfect FPS experience on the Wii?

We hope so.
