There has been a lot of talk about 3-D gaming and 3-D TV, but from what I've seen, it looks like it's going to be nothing more than a gimmick. I mean to have to wear the 3-D glasses all the time to watch this movie or to play this game will cause nothing more than a great headache in my opinion that; and extra cost for accessories like 3-D glasses. Seems like the television in industry wants to impose more new technology upon the consumer, like they did with digital TV, though in defense of the digital TV; It was a good step up from the standard analog. 3-D is only something a small margin, people really care for if the pricing right as a optional feature, then it would be easily accepted. If they charge an extra $300 for such a thing then this can be as hard to adapt as digital. Come to think of it took a long time for VHS to be kicked off the market and replaced with DVD. But the idea of playing a 3-D games in 3-D is quite interesting. One can only hope that if this does come into being and becomes a large factor in are gaming future that people go about it correctly. I can see this type of technology being partnered with Natal. That would make quite a fun experience. Think about it; The camera records things 3-D and then displays the visuals in 3-D is something that would be pretty cool. Like a 3-D display of keyboard or keypad that you can use your actual fingers and start pressing the buttons on it in a correspondence with what's going on with the game. It's almost like a holodeck if u think about it, though a really cheap one. In the End, I'll say that if it works it works if doesn't it doesn't, but here's hoping for improved experience of television viewing and gaming. Fyi i cant seem to se my text as i write it so excuse the bad spelling and what not its like i writing in invisable ink.
