Primary Responsibility:
The primary responsibility of a writer is to find video game industry news, discern the relevance of the find, determine the credibility of the source, and create a professional write up that is clear and concise and effectively communicates the nature of the news to readers. Sources for news include game publisher PR contacts, press releases, the internet, and other gaming sites.
Other responsibilities:
You will occasionally be asked to contribute original editorials—creative, generally point of view or reflective works—game reviews, and previews. You may sporadically be given special assignments when necessary as deemed by TGS management.
